Having been born and raised on a small farm on the Appalachian plateau, Kelsey was constantly surrounded by the ebb and flow of rural living. This awareness of the natural cycle of seasons, time, and life has continued to follow Kelsey through her photographic career. She is particularly interested in temporal experiences of daily living and how these moments intersect with memory. She works with digital and analog processes, as well as both large and small format cameras. Kelsey is currently pursuing her MFA in Photography at Miami University in Oxford, OH.
